Lunch run
I’m begining to realize that for 30 minutes I can maintain a 10 min/mile without issue even with some walking in there. Of course, this is running by myself, and without the “energy” of race day. Above 3/30 my pace falls off. this will be something to work on over the off season, especially if I find myself training for the things that I’d like to do next year. But, for now, I’m ok with it. Actually, I’m just fine with it.
Starting to mentally prep my list of things I’ll need for next weekend. Pretty sure I’ve already got everything except for new Tri shorts. (Listen to the wise people when they tell you that you really should hand wash your tri shorts if you want them to last more than 1 season). So, it looks like I’ll have a pair of training shorts, and a pair of race shorts by the end of this weekend. Will need to pick up some more Gu next week, but I think I’ve got everything. (I did buy some today, but purposefully didn’t buy enough…any excuse to go to EA is a good excuse, right?).
