Spin class

got up way before o’dark hundred this morning…I know because the moon was still high in the sky…and made it to Spin Class. A lot of the regulars were still there and a couple of new folks.

I tell ya, if ya want to be in Rich’s 5:30 am spin class, get there early!

Glad to know that after 6 weeks away from spin class, I still got it and can still keep up. 8)

Resolutioners are early birds

Man the gym was packed this morning. A month ago at 5:30am on a Monday you could throw a brick from one end of the cardio room to the other and not hit anyone. Today, you probably would have knocked out at least a 1/2 dozen people or so.
And, why are you so grumpy! Smile people! Exercise is FUN! :-)

Spun for 30 after lifting. Doc gave me the “no restrictions” green light!

class fills up quick

by 5:20 this morning all of the bikes were “accounted” for in the Y’s spin class. And when I left at 6:50 the parking lot was full. I’m not sure if it was people feeling guilty about their Halloween “pleasures” or people “prepping” for the upcoming Holidays.
As much as it makes me happy that people are out getting fit, or at least moving more, its sort of a pain when the things/places you enjoy doing/going are all full.
Such are the times.

just a spin at the Y today. busted a real good sweat. it helps when your “power song(s)” come on just at the moment you think it’s time to start cooling down…and then BAM, your next “power song” comes on so you go a little further…

some abs and spin

have to track as general cardio because the spin bike doesn’t tell me anything other than, “crank it up some” every once and awhile…Now, if I rode the bike that has “programs” on it, and actually told me how far I went, what my cadence was, and stuff like that, should I track that as “general cardio” or “cycle”….hmmm…

Man, if that is my biggest dilemma for today, I’m in good shape!

Morning spin

just a little spinning this morning. Got bored with watching birthing shows, bad news, and wacked out history stuff on the TV’s so I focused on a spot in the carpet…It looked like a dot with an M under it. I wonder what that means…(yes, I know what the MDOT stands for, I just wonder why I was focusing on it, and why it stood out for me so much).
Did some good stretching after, hammies and quads feel much better now.
