My time trial for 500 was 9:07 = 1:49/100yd*. (* = used pull buoy).  Felt really good this morning, except when I kick&#8230;I don&#8217;t kick, so when the workout calls for &#8220;swimming&#8221; it&#8217;s actually hard for me, (I usually use a pull buoy, which means I don&#8217;t kick, legs just float).  And then, to top it all off, the workout called for &#8220;Kick 100 no board&#8221;&#8230;which, we changed up to &#8220;kick 50 with board&#8221;.  I think I need to work up to kicking without pulling and not using a kick board.</p>
<p>Total time of workout was about 45 minutes, but that includes &#8220;rests&#8221; and &#8220;read&#8221; time.</p>
<p>For my last swim of the year, it felt pretty good.</p>

<p>The pool was actually quite crowded.  Mitch had the &#8220;brilliant&#8221; idea of getting there at doors open, which I responded to with a &#8220;I might be a little late&#8221;&#8230;(which, of course I wasn&#8217;t), but he was the first in the pool, getting us a lane, thankfully, as the pool filled up quite quick after that.</p>
<p>Had a few 100&#8217;s in the 1:35-1:40 range, which feels really good.  smooth and long glides.</p>
<p>Now its off to wake the fam and get the little one on the bus.  What a great way to start the day!

20 out, 20 back.  Really felt in a grove.  Almost had a head on colision with 2 really big dogs that decided it might be kinda fun to eat some rooster.  Other than that, it was a quite peaceful ride.  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My workout motivation has been lacking lately.  I know why, and I&#8217;m fine with it.  This morning it was completely lacking, but, I still dragged my butt to the gym.  I had ZERO idea of what my workout was going to be this morning until I walked into the cardio room at the Y and looked around.  I didn&#8217;t feel like riding the stationary bike, both Spin bikes were taken (coughcough), the treadmill and I don&#8217;t get along so well anymore, those eliptical thingies scare me, and I just wasn&#8217;t quite ready to hit the Strider&#8230;So, I did some weights&#8230;I guess that woke me up.  <em>Then </em>I hit the strider for 20 mins with 2 min intervals of high/low intensity.  But the best part was the &#8220;refueling&#8221; after the Y&#8230;.yum.</p>
<p>Whats that orange bulb thing in the sky shining down?  I thought we weren&#8217;t supposed to see that again until July 5th&#8230;Its good to see the sun!  <img src='http://auggiesdad.sweat365.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' />
